Death B4 Dishonour
Welcome 2 Da Dynasty
Death B4 Dishonour started in back in 2016 by Re-up Ro$e a Toronto, born hip-hop artist. He got inspired with the name from his Jamaican mother in his younger years, he said something that disrespected his mother, and her response was "never disrespect me, it's death before dishonour", meaning I would die before she would let me walkover her and disrespect her in any way, followed up with a beating, but the delivery and tone of the statement stuck with me for years to come. I then adopted that mindset & statement in my everyday life & in the streets, demanding my respect, and going any amount of distance to get it, a my message across that I'll die for it. Respect & honour are priceless enough to me that I'd put my life on the line for it, that notion is so strong, I wanted to make my brand stand for something that strong as well. Just like the ideal the logo stands for something you can't stop or kill even after going through the worst of the worst or the lowest part of life, you keep your honour intact and keep moving forward. I was also motivated for the use of samurai amour to represent a warrior for their strength, determination, discipline, and will to protect/die for their honour. My idea and legacy is so unbreakable to the point trying to stop me, kill me, or destroy, what's being built will not stop what laid ahead and can never stop. Taking inspiration from Death Row Records own timeless logo to motivate the design my own. When buying or supporting DB4D it's like being initiated into the dynasty, a long family of royals with a rich and prospering history & future. I see my supporters as my family because this is deeper than blood, because it took blood, sweat, an tears to get here an create this.
